Our Commitment to Reliability

At Q-LIFT, we believe in not just selling forklifts—but supporting them throughout their working life. Our Service & Warranty program is designed to maximize uptime, simplify maintenance, and give you greater peace of mind.

Warranty Coverage

  1. Standard Warranty
    • All new forklifts sold by Q-LIFT come with a standard warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.
    • The warranty term is 12 months or 2,000 operating hours (whichever comes first), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    • This standard warranty covers major structural components, hydraulic systems, the drivetrain, and factory-installed equipment (excluding wear parts and consumables).
    • The warranty begins on the date of delivery to the Buyer (or first use, if earlier).
  2. Powertrain / Major Component Warranty
    • In addition to the standard warranty, Q-LIFT offers coverage on key components: engine, transmission, drive axle, motor systems, etc., for up to 24 months or 5,000 hours (whichever comes first), subject to terms.
    • This additional coverage is only valid if the forklift has been maintained according to our recommended service schedule.
  3. Extended Warranty Options
    • You may purchase an extended warranty beyond the standard period. – Will this be an option
    • Extended coverage must be requested and confirmed in writing before the standard warranty expires.
    • The Buyer must adhere to all prescribed maintenance and servicing obligations for the extended warranty to remain valid.


What’s Not Covered

    • Unless expressly stated in writing, all Goods are sold voetstoots.
    • Where a warranty is provided, it shall cover only the specific components and time period stated by Q-LIFT in writing.
    • Warranties do not cover wear and tear, misuse, overloading, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.
    • Q-LIFT shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or downtime.


The warranty does not cover:

  • Routine wear and tear items (e.g. tyres, brake pads, filters, belts, hoses).
  • Damage resulting from misuse, overloading, neglect, accidents, improper operation or maintenance, or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
  • Consumables, fluids, and filters used in standard servicing.
  • Damage caused by external factors (e.g. fire, floods, acts of nature).
  • Repairs performed by third parties without Q-LIFT’s written approval.


Warranty Claims & Procedure

  1. Notification – Buyer must notify Q-LIFT in writing of any alleged defect within 7 days of discovering it, during the warranty period.
  2. Inspection – Q-LIFT or its authorized technician will inspect the forklift and determine whether the defect is covered under warranty.
  3. Repair or Replacement – If covered, Q-LIFT will, at its option, repair or replace the defective part or component.
  4. Costs – Q-LIFT will bear the cost of parts and labor for covered warranty repairs. Buyer may be responsible for transport or dismantling costs unless otherwise agreed.
  5. Rejection – If Q-LIFT determines the defect is not covered, Buyer will be informed and a quotation for repair will be offered.


Service & Maintenance

Preventative Maintenance Plans

Full Service Contracts

      • For clients who prefer “all-in” coverage, Q-LIFT provides full service contracts covering preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance (excluding wear items and misuse).
      • Under a full service contract, Q-LIFT may also arrange for prompt breakdown assistance, parts provisioning, and scheduled service visits.


Emergency Repairs & Support

    • Q-LIFT provides breakdown support during business hours for emergency repair needs.
    • Outside standard hours or in remote areas, additional call-out or travel fees may apply.
    • For emergencies, priority scheduling is offered where possible.


Conditions & Exclusions

    • The warranty is non-transferable, unless specifically permitted in writing by Q-LIFT.
    • All warranty work must be performed by Q-LIFT or by technicians authorized by Q-LIFT.
    • The Buyer must maintain accurate records of service, parts used, hours run, and submit them if requested.
    • Q-LIFT reserves the right to void the warranty if the forklift is modified, misused, or not operated per specification.
    • Any replaced parts become the property of Q-LIFT.


Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

    • This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Q-LIFT, superseding all prior or contemporaneous representations or warranties, whether written or oral.
    • Q-LIFT excludes all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
    • Q-LIFT’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. Under no circumstances will Q-LIFT be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, loss of profit, or business interruption damages.

To request warranty or service work, please provide:

    • Forklift model, serial number, and hours run
    • Description of the problem/fault
    • Maintenance history or records
    • Contact details and location
